Week 7

I became a scientist Part 2

I started researching climate change and how it affected the earth. It is crazy how one part of the earth is dry and it has fires all over and the other part of the earth is flooding or then another piece is just perfectly fine. Everyone was saying stop climate change and I said I can’t stop it and you can’t either. The world stops it I can’t snap my fingers and it works the earth doesn’t work like that. I kept researching and searching about it and you can’t believe how much I found.

  1. Hello! Yes there is a lot of different views on climate change so research is important. I like how you pointed out you alone can’t just snap your fingers and fix it; it needs everyone. A very clever person once told me, though, to focus on the area where you can have influence (that could just be your own space). I’ve found that really helpful when I try to deal with any problem or issue. Keep on searching and researching (make sure you check that the information is from a knowledgeable source); it is a way you will gain lots of knowledge and you will be able to make informed decisions.

  2. Hi Claire,
I really liked your story and they way you told people one person alone can’t solve a serious matter, and the way it’s crazy places are experiencing poler opposite weather. Very well written.
